Every Australian will soon have a My Health Record - an online summary of their health and medical information - unless they opt out. So what is it and what do you need to know?

My Health Record is an online health record where an individual’s important health information can be stored, allowing immediate online access to their health and care data. Personal health information that can be stored includes medicines and allergies, hospital and GP summaries, investigation reports and advance care plans.

COTA SA’s free Reframing Ageing session covers:

  • How your My Health Record works
  • The kind of information that will be stored
  • How information will be shared
  • The process for opting out (before the 15 November deadline)
  • An opportunity for audience questions and answers

This session will be presented by representatives from the Adelaide Primary Health Network (PHN).
