There's still time... Book your Spot at our Women's Health Week Event
Following on from the very successful Women's Health Event last year, this year will have a different theme. We know that women take on multiple roles in their lives and what the research tell us is that women over 50 are not only looking after children and grandchildren, but often also their parents and in-laws. We know that their own health and wellbeing is regularly neglected as there just isn't the time. The reality is that women are often the glue that hold families together, and unless they sometimes put themselves first, life can start to unravel.

Speak Up: Palliative Care and End of Life Care in South Australia
Community Consultations and Focus Groups
Currently not everyone in South Australia can access palliative care when they need it.
Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) seeks to consult with patients and consumers and health professionals from community, primary, specialist and aged care services to inform an evidence-based, person-oriented advocacy platform to ensure standards-based palliative care and end of life care is available when and where they need it.

Have Your Say: Community and Health Consumer Survey

They are currently undertaking a survey aimed at the Australian public to find out their views on death and dying, their awareness of palliative care and of CareSearch and of how they source and use online health information.

Watch out for NBN scams
The ACCC is warning the community that scammers are pretending to be from NBN to con victims out of their money and personal information.
Scamwatch has received 316 complaints this year about scammers impersonating NBN with nearly $28,000 reported lost.
"Scammers are increasingly using trusted government brands like NBN to trick people into falling for scams. Their goal is always to either get hold of your money or personal information," ACCC Deputy Chair Delia Rickard said.
Visit the scamwatch website for more information on the nature of these scams and how to protect yourself https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/news/watch-out-for-nbn-scams
