Quality & Safety In Aged Care – Call Out To Hear Your Views!
The Review of National Aged Care Quality Regulatory Processes, led by Kate Carnell AO, was released to the public on 25 October 2017.
In response, COTA Australia is leading a review to hear experiences and views of older people, their friends, family and other supporters to understand:
- What factors impact choosing an aged care provider
- How people source information to help choose an aged care provider
- What indicators would assist people when choosing an aged care provider
To help inform the COTA Australia work, COTA SA has scheduled a series of small focus groups in the week of 27 November 2017 to hear from the community.
We acknowledge this is short notice, but we have a unique opportunity to provide direct consumer viewpoints into the COTA Australia review if we move quickly. This review will go to the Department of Health in January.
For more information and how to register for a focus group see https://www.cotasa.org.au/Enewsletter/quality-and-safety-in-aged-care.aspx
