2015 Every Generation Festival done, run and won!

Every Generation 2015 winnersThe 2015 Every Generation Festival and Positive Ageing Awards are over for another year - breaking new ground in our quest to reframe ageing.

Our new, shorter format attracted close to 200 registered community events across the state from Local Council run fetes and multi-cultural days to morning teas, concerts, fitness and health events and the ever-popular movie mornings.

Over 800 people attended the COTA SA curated events including the 1st Annual Lecture on Ageing with Bryan Dawe, an event presented by sponsor KeyInvest and Glenn A Baker's Musical Explosion at the Arkaba Hotel which had everyone singing & dancing in the aisles way, way past bedtime! Thanks to our fabulous guest speakers and guest artists - Bryan Dawe, Glenn A Baker, John ‘Swanee' Swan, John Schumann, Taasha Coates, John Bywaters, Peter Tilbrook, Dorinda Hafner, Jane Reilly, Eric Russell, Dr Faizal Ibrahim and David Penberthy - who created some truly unique and wonderful events.

The ‘Old Hollywood Glamour - Red/Black/White' themed Positive Ageing Awards Cocktail Party was a hit! Thank you to everyone who embraced the theme with Dracula & his bride, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth and Anrold Schwarzenegger all making appearances. Of course the event honoured the often unheralded work of so many in the community who work hard to improve the lives of older people.
