Thanks to the The Capri Theatre at Goodwood we have 10 double passes to give away.

"The Titfield Thunderbolt" (G) is about a group of Villagers trying to keep their train line operating after British Railways decided to close it.

Starring a brilliant cast including: Stanley Holloway, John Gregson, Hugh Griffith and Sid James, it was the first UK comedy shot in Technicolor.

The screenplay for the Ladykillers (PG) was nominated for an Academy Award and won the BAFTA for Best British Screenplay. The plot revolves around five diverse oddball criminal types planning a bank robbery who rent rooms on a cul-de-sac from an octogenarian widow under the pretext that they are classical musicians. It features an all-star British cast including, Alec Guinness, Peter Sellers, Herbert Lom, Kate johnson, Frankie Howerd, Cecil Parker and Kenneth Connor.

The Theatre in its 76th year celebrates 50 years as the Capri in 2017.

All proceeds from this event will go towards our Restoration Fund.

So come along for a Night of laughs for all the family to enjoy!

The bar will be open from 6pm with the piano tinkling in the foyer.

The mighty WurliTzer will play and Haigh's trays will be doing the rounds with all of your favourite cinema goodies for sale.
