Door to Door Sales - What are your rights
Unsolicited door-to-door selling is where a salesperson comes to your premises, uninvited to sell you something.
 
From 1st January 2011, as part of the new Australian Consumer Law (ACL), door-to-door trading may only be conducted between 9am and 6pm on weekdays and between 9am and 5pm on Sundays...

COTA SA is proud to be a partner in the residency program of Dr Alexandre Kalache as Adelaide’s new Thinker in Residence. Ian Yates, COTA Senior Voice Chief Executive congratulated Premier Mike Rann and the South Australian Government for bringing Dr Kalache, a world expert on ageing,  to Adelaide in this important role.

The Carbon Tax and Older Australians - What it Means For You
On 10 July the Federal government released its complete carbon price package, most of which had been negotiated between Labor, the Greens and key Independents in the multi-part Climate Change Committee.  COTA Australia Chief Executive Ian Yates was in the government's Lock Up on 10 July and reports on how the scheme affects older Australians.
